NIGCOMSAT to Strengthen ties with NHIA

In continuation of his official engagement with stakeholders, the Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer, NIGCOMSAT Ltd, Engr. Tukur Mohammed Lawal has paid an official visit to some stakeholders who are directly involved in one business or the other with NIGCOMSAT Ltd. One of such agency is the Nigerian Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) which in the last four years has enjoyed NIGCOMAST deployment of technical support in the provision of services for the running of the agency.
Engr. Lawal commended the management of NHIA for believing in NIGCOMSAT Ltd even when some agencies of government had focused in other directions when the same resources are available at NIGCOMSAT Ltd. He told the NHIA management team that NIGCOMSAT Ltd parades amongst other things, the best human and technical resources in the industry. The MD/CEO who was in company of top Management Executives, informed the NHIA management that as a private sector person, he desire to carry activities of the company in a businesslike manner.
While welcoming the Management of NIGCOMSAT Ltd, the Director General of NHIA Professor Mohammed expressed joy on the appointment of Engr. Tukur Mohammed Lawal as the new Managing Director, Executive Chief Officer of NIGCOMSAT Ltd, urging him to enhance the implementation of the E-NHIA project to guarantee the complete integration of the health service delivery in the country. He charged the Managing Director of NIGCOMSAT Ltd to bring to bear his wealth of experience from the private sector, even as his own agency was operating epileptically until recently when the operations and services of his agency was upgraded by NIGCOMSAT Ltd to a digital and robust one.
