The Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer, NIGCOMSAT Ltd, Engr. Tukur Mohammed Lawal, has welcome the Nigerian Institution of Space Engineers who were at NIGCOMSAT Ltd on a courtesy call today.
The NIGCOMSAT Chief Executive Officer, who received them alongside with top management team in his office expressed confidence in the human and material resources available in NIGCOMSAT Ltd, whose staff mostly are members of the institution, hoping to harness such resourcefulness to move the company forward.
Engr. Lawal promised to explore good working relationship with the Institution for the growth of the space industry.
He called for their support in the task ahead in restrategising the direction of NIGCOMSAT Ltd and the space sector explaining the confidence he has seen in NIGCOMSAT workforce which to him is ‘resourceful and encouraging’.
Responding, the National Chairman, Nigerian Institution of Space Engineers, Dr. Umar Sani Abdulahi, thanked the new Managing Director and urged him to drive NIGCOMSAT to a more profitable path.
While congratulating him on his appointment MD/CEO of NIGCOMSAT Ltd, the Chairman pledged to work support the new MD/CEO stating that so far, the institution has contributed immensely to many institutions and government agencies in the country.
At the end of the engagement, NIGCOMSAT Ltd gave a plaque to the visiting guest while the
MD/CEO also received a plaque from them.
